Effective immediately, Gradient MSP has attained its SOC 2, Type I certification.
While we have always taken a Security and Privacy by Design approach, it feels great to get independent confirmation that we are moving in the right direction. We are certified on the Trust Services Criteria of Security, Privacy and Confidentiality.
The security and privacy of your data is of utmost priority for Gradient, which is why we have placed an early focus on SOC 2 certification. To that end, we are now in our SOC 2, Type 2 audit period, which runs from July 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021, and then yearly after that.
The SOC 2 program is run by the American Institute of CPAs, and is designed for cloud and SaaS companies, emphasizing security and operational metrics. More information about the SOC 2 program can be found on AICPA’s website.
By prioritizing security and privacy from the outset, we are able to build those two trust factors into everything that we do. To that end, we are also working on several other major security and privacy certifications.
These certifications are important not just today, but for the amazing things we’re building for you that we’ll launch in the coming months.
